    Pulling All my boxes...

Due to a recent threat to give out some of my WOM clues, and solutions to my puzzle boxes, I am going to remove the majority of my clues from letterboxing.org (when the site is back up again), and AQ, and go to strictly "word of mouth", or post somewhere else...Ill keep you posted.

    Focus for 2006

    Series for 2006: Martial Arts
This year, I have decided to focus on a nation wide stamp series on Combat Sports...one of my passions. This series will offer long challenging hikes from many areas aroung the USA, including the following: VA, WVA, CT, OR, WA, TX, OH, VT, and Canada. The clues will be WOM, or on this web page...With codes to decipher and other unique clues. The planters so far: Poison Ivy, Koyote, WINK, Maiden, myself, and others....some of the best out there. This series will require dicipline, just like martial arts itself, requiring you to hike far or up extreme hills, and show your dedication. The goal, is to limit the find to only those dedicated enough to stay with it. The stamps range from martail arts forms (jui-jitsu, mauy-ti, karate, submission fighting, MMA), yoga, japanesse art, dragons, oriental culture and more...Stay tuned, as the detail come and the stamps grow.

    Kevin Smith PLB

January 16, 2006 marked the official start of the "Kevin Smith Postal Letterbox Ring", started by The Sprite and Highlander. It features almost 20 stamps and carvers from across the nation. It is in honor of movie director Kevin Smith, better know as "Silent Bob" in his movies. He was also the creater of the now classic black and white feature film "Clerks". This is my first PLB ring, as I prefer to hike and experience the outdoors and puzzles, but this theme is one I could not pass up....Bong!

    Virgina Beach Letterboxing Pirate?

More Letterboxes go missing in VA Beach...
About six months ago, I had my first report of a missing box planted by me in First Landing State Park in Virginia Beach ("Man in a Box"). It had been replaced as found, but the stamp was missing. Back in November, my good bud Koyote went down there on a romantic getaway with his wife, and replaced the stamp and all its contents for me. Now I am notified by "meechleigh", whom boxes and reside down there, that another of my boxes has gone missing (2 sisters). She had found it in the summer, but kinda went to check on it, and found it completely gone. After talking to her futher she mentioned that other boxes have gone missing down there recently at a higher rate than normal. This is alarming as, the "2 sisters" letterbox was carved and planted with my 2 daughters, and were looking foward to looking at the logbook during the upcoming spring. I hope this is not the case of vandals, and validates my reson for creating this page for my box plants this year. Many have stopped posting on letterboxing.org, and I might do the same.

Pictured above, you see the great marshlands in First landing State Park. Some of the coolest, creepest marshes, and tons of trails that im sure to fill with boxes this spring.

    Canine Caper

    "CANINE CAPER" ?
Well, My good friend "Koyote" and I have had an idea for some time as to a unique mini-gather/event. We starting planning a few months ago, over some brewski's..and then slacked a bit, kinda when the "Pub Crawl" came about...But after seeing how well the Crawl went, and talking to "Koyote" about the overall feel, and ejoyment everyone had, we have kinda agreed to restart the idea, and plan a real special "game" of sorts to be held at a date TBA....We still have LOTS to do, and the ideas are just starting to build, so hang in there...You will not be disapointed with this one-of-a-kind game/race. Koyote's alter ego is alive!

    MINDFREAK
Still this letterbox has gone unfound, as its disappearing act rivals that of the illusionist it was created to honor: Criss Angel. Will you be the first to find this tribute box to the greatest magicain of all time?

    Cops and Robbers: The Kidnapped
Well, series number 2 in the "Cops and Robbers" letterboxes was released about 7 weeks ago. And after checking them before leaving town, there has only been 2 visitors. Well folks, Cops and Robbers pt 3, is in the works, and clues will only be available for those that have completed the fisrt 2. This year will again provide the letterboxer with unique clues, that promise to be more challenging than the ones released in 2005.
